Those French Blues 32 or 33? Trying to decide whether to flip my pair or have my tailor take out the seat and hope they sit looser.

Those are 33. The 32's were just too tight. These were also two days after the half marathon, so I'm sure my weight is still down a bit...

Mike, are you in the store this Sat & Sun? And if so, which location?

Will the tropical wool pine Walts be restocked?

I'm also curious whether going forward you'll continue to design your shirts with a chest pocket. I prefer mine without so I skip most of the shirting. Perhaps I'm in a distinct minority, though, in which case you have to go where the demand is, of course.

New to the forum but I have been buying from Mike for a few years.  Just wanted to say to Mike and Adele that your customer service has been excellent.  You make shopping a real pleasure!  My cigar indy boots and my monitaly jacket get compliments all the time.  Also my snuff suede chukkas and my western printed loafers are my favorite summer shoes. My friend will stop by the store to pick up the printed belt for me!  I am trying to be patient for the cigar brixtons.icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gifThank you for everything.

Been buying from Mike for a few years.  Cigar Indy boots and Monitaly jacket get compliments all the time.  Snuff suede chukkas and printed loafers are my favorite shoes for summer.  Have some other purchases that I am thankful for.  Thank you for the always excellent customer service Mike!  Canada by way of South Korea!

Any advices on taking care of Thorogoods 685 "Crazy horse"? Shoe trees? What's Peccards exactly? I want to know, so I can find a substitute in Poland... Wouldn't want to destroy these great boots by using something foul on them :-). I'd be grateful for help.

Maybe some of you people here would like to learn Polish, huh? Polish is beautiful... It's like rustling of leaves in autumn.

My pleasure, and I'm glad that you dig the boots!

Care is really easy on them. Shoe trees aren't really necessary, but they can't hurt. They'll prevent the boots from getting too creased.

And Pecards is a leather conditioner. I'm sure that you can find something equivalent locally. Just go to a shoe repair store and ask for "mink oil" or a leather conditioner. It's a grease that you rub into the boots to keep the leather soft and give it a degree of water resistance. With crazy horse leather, it will also darken the tone a bit, which is pretty cool as it works its way out.

Don't think I ever posted this. It's the weller jacket in midnight navy and gunmetal rivets.
Looking good! I dig that combo.

Yup, wait until the contest starts. It's looking like early next week. I was supposed to catch up on work tonight but somehow ended up having three rye manhattans and talking about shoe business development all freaking night. I'm heading to your home state of MA tomorrow to visit Southwick and Alden, so I'll be out of commission on Styleforum for a bit. BUT, I promise to bring back some dope photos of sportcoats and shoes!

I'm planning to be in BK on Saturday and I most likely won't be in the stores on Sunday. Catching up on orders and planning that day. But come through to Brooklyn, it would be great to see you there!

Ah sorry, not that exact shade of pine, although I'm always on the look out for something like that. I'm a sucker for subtle green wool trousers.

And we've got the chest pockets for now, but we may switch that up in the future. Who knows!

Mike,

I'm a new customer and I'm very interested in your wool trousers.
Could you help me out by providing some measurements for a 28 walt? I need:
-Leg width at 29'' inseam
-Width at 12'' down from crotch/thigh

Even considering that our measuring methods may cause variance, your measurements would be helpful. Thanks!
