I never attempted this on a Rudy. I'm usually a size 31 and I buy a 32 in Walt so it's kind of the same thing. I get the waist taken in, seat taken in, and legs tapered.

Thanks. That makes sense. I think then I will just get the 32's per normal and have the tailor keep the waist but trim everything else. And as long as the tailor doesn't charge and an arm and a leg it will still be a deal!

anyone have some real life pics of the Desert Ducks? I was thinking of waiting for the next restock of Gunmetal, but I might actually go for the Desert Ducks instead, since my size is still available. But, the website only has some studio shots, so I was hoping someone could post up some pics of those in the wild. Thanks!

NYR and myself have both posted up pics earlier in the thread. The color is great, it's like a sandy khaki, with maybe just a hint of olive? I dunno, it's such a good color and I love the fabric enough that I'm tempted to just put all my other rivets away and buy 2 more pair when they come back in stock in my size (if?) and wear them full-time.

Seconded - it's an awesome, versatile color.  I'm also tempted to get a second pair.  I just ordered a second pair.

Natural CXL LWBs delivered. Soo good IRL. And my "guess" on the Leydon (just that I've never tried it) was spot on. Such a better fit for me than the Barrie. Fit pics will ensue...

I have both, way different. Blaze is a much more bright "blood orange" while the papaya has a hint of purpleish lightness to the orange...no idea if that makes sense.

Pretty much what you posted earlier, white, black or navy is good with these but I really liked the natty chromex.
Got loads of compliments about them by co-workers and students today...

Just received three pairs or rivet chinos and the Alden Chromexel long wings. Looks like I have a new favorite casual shoe. They're awesome and comfortable as hell. Threw on same navy laces. In a weird way I was hoping the chinos wouldn't fit because I dont' really need to be spending money on pants I don't really need. But they're awesome, and I be stupid not to keep them.

I really, really like this look. I had been contemplating picking those up for a while now, and that just put me over the edge. Of course they are already sold out in my size, the story of my life these days with Epaulet's chinos :/

Question on cuffing the chinos - do most typically do a double cuff? I'm thinking of getting the pants hemmed 2 inches longer than I normally would so I can do a single turn-up. Not sure how single turn-ups generally look with these. thoughts?
