I was worried that they would be a little too drape-y compared to the 10oz, but they're not that thin. They're still a tough as nails canvas pant, just a little bit lighter for warmer weather. For anyone on the fence about these who lives in a hotter-than-average climate, you absolutely need these in your closet, especially once summer gets here.
And I'm digging the "new" new fit too. I own some Rivets from the original fit, and a pair of the updated fit, and now the Leafs and French Blues in the newest fit, and it's spot on perfect now. It's hard to articulate exactly why, but I think the slight measurement tweaks that Mike made really brought it all together, at least for my body shape. It's not noticeably tighter or looser in any area - I wear the same size in all 3 fits - but it just feels better from top to bottom. And I did notice some improved construction around the seat and crotch areas too. If I look at my Caramel Ducks from the previous run up close and stretch them out a bit, I can almost see through the seam. But, with this new run, the seams are super tight. I don't think I'll be busting through anything on the older models, but I do like the improved construction on this newest fit. Awesome job guys!!
EDIT: Also - what shade of blue is going to be offered on the oxford cloth Rivets? Now that I have the 7oz French Blues, I'd definitely be interested in something a bit darker, maybe closer to a navy shade.

Thank you sir - that's great to hear! We've gotten really good feedback on the "new" fit. I was like a man possessed after the first run came out, and I'm really glad that we nailed it with those small tweaks.

In terms of oxford cloth chinos... they are so freaking good. Here's a quick and dirty preview pic. There's blue - like our blue OCBD, a pale grey, and a really awesome wine color. The shot doesn't do it full justice, but our studio and fit pics will. You can see the digicams there too.

275 at 35yo! Pretty impressive brah.

I was into lifting heavy until a few years ago when I roughed up my shoulder. Now I'm all about the Jersey Shore-ish split routine of 12-16 reps. I benched the s*** out of 155lb last night.

Epaulet is going to kill my wallet. Those blue and the wine colored chinos look awesome. i'd have to decide which would work better. what color dress shirt do you guys think would work with the wine? i can't picture anything, i know you guys will pick a winner

Those oxford cloth chinos look absolutely amazing. If we don't get a pair with the drop this week, will there be another chance to get them or is the fabric all gone?

I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be excited if these were made into shirts (also).

I think gray works pretty well with the plum chinos.

Are the rivet canvas chinos the new fit we should go by from now on? Or is there still variance between the type of cloths you are using? I've been pretty consistent 32s on last year's rivets, but had to size up for the canvas.

I think they call that the hipster tuxedo.

Wore my Loro Piana navy glen plaid suit the other day at an event with the pink Ashland shirt and Ravello brixton boots (tie/square/socks non-Epaulet). Will post a photo if one surfaces.

In addition to the fabric being terrific, it's great having a suit option with a 3/8 lined jacket. Very, very pleased with this. A perfect four-season suit, IMO.

Has anyone taken in a Walt sz 36 by 2'' ?  If so, does it still look good or are the proportions messed up with fabric hanging off the sides?  I used to be a Walt 36 and had what my wife refers to as SRWL (sudden rapid weight loss).  After visiting Epaulet orchard st. in January, I now fit a Rudy 34 like a glove, but that means special ordering and being patient, and not having access to all the fabrics such as the linen windowpane.  Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely grateful for the Rudy, it's God gift to the tribe of big thighs.  I *lurve* my rudy trousers in super 120s grey and navy.  But I'm also impatient and have fabric jealousy.    So please opine.  Should I try a Walt sz 36 and take it in 2'' in the waist or should I suck it up, learn more patience and continue to order the Rudy 34, which fits like a glove and does not need to be altered in any way other than the hem?

anyone who has Rudy 34 they want to sell, I'm on the bid (willing to buy)

^ I have had a few 34s taken in to a 32 in the waist, and they look great (not your precise sizes, but also 2" difference). I'm wearing one pair now, as it happens.

This is definitely feasible. The thigh on the Walt 36 is a bit smaller than the Rudy 34, but depending on how the Rudy fits, you may be alright with it. If nothing else, you can get the thigh let out as well. We've definitely had customer's buy the Walt and convert it to a Rudy (Mike has done this countless times) and the opposite, if we were out of one/the other. You can pretty much tailor anything about the fit of the trouser's

We have them in the Orchard St store. Probably have them at the Brooklyn shop by the weekend.
