Mike,
What colors will the oxford cloth rivets be in? I had to return a size 32 khaki and would not mind trying the oxford cloth if there is a color I need.
Mike - I really like the Rivet Chinos that I have and especially like all the bright color options. I see that you offer a lot of those nice bright colors in the trousers but generally only in the Slim Walts. Any chance of ever stocking up on some colors like racing green canvas, scarlet Irish linen, or chambray blue in the Rudy fit? Or has that been done before but just sold out before I noticed?

rudy orders are taken monthly i believe? so usually the beginning of the month following a drop will have what's available for Rudy orders in the pre-order section of the site.
I have a feeling the digi camo will be hot seller!
Haha, I hope so! I've been looking forward to bringing that back into the line.

Well, this Army Digi Camo is actually more grey than green. And there's three schools of thought for wearing them (anyone, please feel free to add additional ways if you have them)
1. Your one bold item in an otherwise trad outfit (paired with navy blazer, OCBD, penny loafers, etc).
2. Toned-down and causal (think with a solid polo, chukkas, Indy Boots, maybe an understated harrington or casual jacket).
3. Full on streetwear or hardcore style (supreme box tee, penfield jackets, Gorilla Biscuits t-shirt, Air Jordans, Docs).
This is pretty much the gamut of customers who have bought the digicam's from me in store. I personally love them as really comfortable basics that are easy to match and stand up to a serious beating. My usual digicam friends are a Sunspel polo and a pair of Alden suede chukkas. In terms of colors, most things will go with Army digi cam (navy, dark bown, grey, black, sand, reddish-tones, etc), but you'll want to stay away from strong patterns elsewhere in your outfit. Wearing digicam pants with a really bold gingham shirt might make you look like either (1) a rodeo clown or (2) someone in a brand new hip hop group that I don't know but all sorts of kids on Orchard Street seem to.
Seriously, brand new rap music makes me and the other Epaulet dudes feel kind of old. Not only do we not know any of it, but the people doing it are like 16 years old. It's disconcerting.

I'd say that Keith summed it up nicely.
I'll just add that this crotch-wrapped J.Lo comes in three colors (blue, wine, grey), and is the same weight as your usual oxford cloth shirt. That makes them lighter than the 7oz canvas and perfect as a warm-weather pant.

We'll do our next round of Rudy special orders in about 10 days or so. You'll be able to place orders against anything that we still have fabric on. We're out of Racing Green canvas, but I've got Racing Green twill going live this week. Scarlet and Mandarin will be there and a whole bunch of other choices. Matt will post everything up once it's ready.
Just put on my 7oz French Blues for the first time, I must say they are pretty amazing - fit pics will be coming shortly. I was worried that they would be a little too drape-y compared to the 10oz, but they're not that thin. They're still a tough as nails canvas pant, just a little bit lighter for warmer weather. For anyone on the fence about these who lives in a hotter-than-average climate, you absolutely need these in your closet, especially once summer gets here.
And I'm digging the "new" new fit too. I own some Rivets from the original fit, and a pair of the updated fit, and now the Leafs and French Blues in the newest fit, and it's spot on perfect now. It's hard to articulate exactly why, but I think the slight measurement tweaks that Mike made really brought it all together, at least for my body shape. It's not noticeably tighter or looser in any area - I wear the same size in all 3 fits - but it just feels better from top to bottom. And I did notice some improved construction around the seat and crotch areas too. If I look at my Caramel Ducks from the previous run up close and stretch them out a bit, I can almost see through the seam. But, with this new run, the seams are super tight. I don't think I'll be busting through anything on the older models, but I do like the improved construction on this newest fit. Awesome job guys!!
EDIT: Also - what shade of blue is going to be offered on the oxford cloth Rivets? Now that I have the 7oz French Blues, I'd definitely be interested in something a bit darker, maybe closer to a navy shade.
