They are bad ass, just needed something for my new suit at graduation, and had these pegged...once I saw em, the decision was easy. Besides, with a few pre-orders awaiting the last thing I need is another pair of boots...

X-post from Alden Thread on the y-axis…EP Red/White/Blue Madras & Whiskey Indy…

My Epaulet order arrived yesterday & I'm really satisfied with it. Great fabric on the shirts! Thanks to Mike & Adele for working with me to sort out my Epaulet shirt size, next up my Walt size. Gotta say that the packaging from Epaulet was outstanding. Are you packing the orders differently? My last order was placed in a giant box & this order was packaged more like an Apple product. Keep up the great work!

Went to Smith St. with my little girl today. She has excellent taste in colors, and immediately picked out a pair of of the cherry rivets. Love the cloth. I also saw the blue suede carminas and they are unbelievable. I'll be back tomorrow to pick up my austerity brogues, but I have a feeling a pair of the blue suede will be coming home as well....

It goes without saying (or rather, is said about 5 times a page in this thread) Mike, but you and Adele run a gem of an operation. The quality and service are the best I've ever encountered, and your take on fit, cloth, and concept just keep getting better and better. The way your lines of good have grown has been phenomenal, somehow you keep dialing it in and expanding options at the same time.

Curious about this myself. Now I'm hearing something about blue suede.

I would go with cotton-linen over linen in the chinos. Although I am intrigued about the oxford-cloth ones.

good call....totally forgot about the forthcoming oxford cloth Rivets. Like you said, a cotton-linen would be pretty sweet too, but I'll try out the oxford ones first when they're released. smile.gif

I just grabbed the Petrol today at Smith St, they're very light, def lighter than the canvas rievts at 8oz, prob close to 6 or 7. Its a summer pant, but its the color that sold me. Can't wait to get em back from the alteration lady! Also picked up a special treat for Graduation Day this year...starts with a "C", ends with a "armina suede double monk". Anyone wanna guess what they are?biggrin.gif
Wow, fit pics as soon as you can with those Carminas! I thought these would have been on the Simpson last like mike mentioned before, but I guess not. As much as I like them, I'm a little uncertain about the inca last

Yup, the fit on the two is quite consistent now. You'll have a different rise and different shape in the chinos, but most guys would take the same size.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, pretty much every chino that you see now will be the "new" standard fit. We basically sold out the old ones to the last pair.

We'll have another Caramel run in about 3 weeks. You guys can expect that we'll have a chino delivery 1-2 times every month, and they'll be a mixture of new styles and restocks of existing ones.

I love Caramel, and that's going to join our "basic" collection as something we regularly stock.

Yup, they're coming this week - probably by Wednesday.

You'll see full restocks of: Navy, Khaki, Gunmetal, Moss, and Cloud

There's four new colors: Racing Green, Golden Brown, French Blue (hell yes!), and Black.

Blaze and Brick have been retired for the season, so if you're thinking about picking up a pair, what we have online is all that we've got.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Honestly, I'm always the most grateful for sentiments like this. Before opening Epaulet, I bought for Department stores for four years (Saks, Lord & Taylor, Macys). I always disliked the grind of sales and markdowns. On a grand scheme, of course it makes sense. There's enormous amounts of customers out there who only buy things on markdown. Instead of judging the price of the item, the judge the perceived discount that they're receiving. If you make something 30% more expensive and then mark it 30% off, it will absolutely work and increase sales for you. Customers who would otherwise pass are now interested because that $1000 item is "bargain" priced at $700. It doesn't matter if anyone ever did or would ever pay that inflated original price. Gilt Groupe is a living testament to this fact.

When we started this collection, I wanted everything to carry a fair price that guys would feel comfortable with. That's always how I wanted to shop. To have a good selection of quality things, to know that the pricing has thought and justification behind it, to count on the fit and manufacture of the items. And I'm always unbelievably grateful to have customers like you guys. People who appreciate and support what we do, and who actively help us build things further. It's all that I could ever ask for, seriously.

Classy words from a classy guy. I do most of my orders online, since I live in New Jersey, but the one or two times I've been able to get over to the shop have been wonderful experiences.

I inspire to one day move over to California and open up a small business myself, and trust me, the number one lesson that I've learned from Epaulet is to stay humble. From my first order to my recent purchases, they have been consistent in their friendly demeanors and have never once shown a whiff of pretentiousness ever.

The only way I would ever stop wearing their clothing is if I ate too many delicious burritos when I moved over to Cali and simply could not fit in any of their clothing.

On a side note, I can't wait to get my Leaf Green Duck Canvas Rivets. I finally have something green to wear for St. Patty's Day. If I recall correctly, Matt is a big fan of green too, so I'm sure he is equally elated.

Epaulet, thank you for 4 wonderful years, here's to 100000 more (Unless in the future we don't wear pants anymore... which would be very awkward... for everyone).

Sincerely,

Sundeep

Hey Mike, will you guys be getting a new shipment of the Carmina double monks this year?

if not, I have to figure out how to surgically modify my feet.
