Mike, sent you a pm.

Also, a quick question. The shirts that come with the buttons on the collar: I like to have the collar spread out and dont like to have these buttoned. Should I just cut the buttons out? Does it look goofy wearing the shirt with the buttons in place and unbuttoned?

Epaulet Walt Trouser Navy Windowpane Linen

Well, that may just be the pair of Walts to accompany the red Irish linen to my door. The Irish are sociable, so I'd hate for the trousers to be without a friend for some fine talk and colloquy on the way here. Not sure whether to get these in 34 or 36 though. Canvas Walts were a little tight in 34, so I may go 36 and have them brought in a touch. Off to measure some trousers.

Question for Mike/Matt:

My Blaze Walts in 32 are a little too tight in the seat, but fine in the waist. Should I:
1. Have them taken out
2. Return for the 33

I'd say wear them around the house a bit just to see if you notice any difference. If they're too snug in the seat, I would definitely just get it let out a bit. I know Mike has had to do this on countless pairs of pants to convert from Walt to Rudy, so you shouldn't have a problem.

Hey Mike/Matt, any chance of doing a special order of the Navy Windowpane Linen trouser as a Rudy?

I've been seeing a lot of blue suede from Alden lately, and a couple different places were offering chukkas, but none of them had anything other than stock D sizes...maybe a few E widths out there, but nothing in a narrow size. But, there are enough pairs out there so it's doubtful I'll be able to drum up interest from enough SFers to get a special order going. I'm going to try anyway so we'll see what happens!

Photo with the winning trousers may be even better than the trouser winning photo.

If I can swing it, I would love a blue chukka.

I went to the site to purchase the seersucker shirt in XL, but it's already sold out. Any chance for a restock?
