I just received my Navy canvas rivet chinos, and was wondering if they changed the fabric. Much softer than I remember my first pair being out of the box. Then again maybe I'm confusing myself with the stiffness of the duck canvas....

The past couple days I've been wearing duck canvas(Caramel and French Blue)...and I'm in love with the fabric and the changes they made. The new cut is MUCH better at holding shirts in. That was one of my few complaints regarding the rivet chinos.

Long time lurker, first post to this thread. Anyone know if there will be a restock on the caramel and french blue rivets?

I would be willing to free proxy (you pay for shipping) if you'd do the same for any W&H gear. I know you Canucks get great deals on their sample stuff.

I'm known as "the guy who dresses up" at work, and got compliments ALL DAY on these pants. Sizing up to the 33 was the ticket, and this color is phenomenal Mike...awesome eye.

i have a similar build to you guys, i have a 15 neck like lagsun. i went to the store this weekend and tried both a medium shirt on. the differences are very small. i had to try the small and medium 2 times each to really notice the difference.

my rec would be if you guys want to wear the shirt casually (i.e. untucked) get a small. if you want to wear the shirt in a work environment (i.e. tucked in) i would get a medium.

Looks great, Ranger Rob! That's a nice color combo, and one I wouldn't have considered. Will you get the chinos permanently hemmed? I would have jumped on those myself, but I already own a pair of chinos that's very close in color.

Thanks K. I'm not sure, probably. The duck cloth folds wonderfully at the cuff though, and is a lot neater than lighter cloths. I have a pair from Club Monaco that I wore last week I think, but the duck cloth to me is an ultimate cloth that I know will hold up to the crap I deal with at work. I feel like I should be an honorary member in the iron workers union with all the snags I've been caught on this year in our overcrowded classrooms. I shit you not, this may be the sole reason for me switching from Ercoles to Epaulet, the stuff here is so much more sturdy than my bespoke trousers. After ruining two pair of $300 pants in September i bought a few pair of rivets, and haven't looked back.

I've placed a couple of orders - got dinged for customs once but that was for a $300+ order. The other order was on a pair of rivets and the value was marked lower than the retail of the pants so no duty there. 

I had previously asked about sizing up from a S to an M in the shirts after the small being a tad too tight and I received my order for a medium today in white oxford. It's without a doubt the best fitting OTR shirt I've ever owned. I usually have to go MTM for shirts and it costs me ~$165 for "bespoke" from a very good tailor at his basic fabric level. This fabric is better and it fits me so well that I'll probably just be using you guys for most of my shirting needs in the future.

I haven't gone down the trouser route yet but that is next. I have to ask, I have a true 31-31.5" waist when measured where I wear my work trousers. Should I follow the sizing guide based on that on the website? Anyone willing to give me any quick tips or things I should be aware of as far as sizing them goes?

Say, did you need to size up to 33 on the new rivets because of tightness in the waist or thigh? (or both?) I found size 33 to work well for me in the French Blues, but could only get my hands on a pair of 32s in the plum. I figure it would either fit snug as-is or I could let out the waist by an inch as long as the thigh isn't too tight on me (I probably have average or smaller thighs).

I think I want to take the plunge on the white oxford button down (seems like a safe bet to test the Epaulet shirt waters) and wanted some sizing help. I'm somewhere between a small and medium in J. Crew shirts...think I can pull off a medium? Just a little concerned about the chest measurements, I'm measuring some of my shirts and I should be somewhere in the 19" range but I feel like I never measure that correctly. Thoughts? Experience?

Measure yourself. What's the measurement when you wrap the tape around your chest under your armpits?

any chance there'll be a restock of the speckled cream chambray?

If youre looking for size 31 in French blue, they'll be back on the website in a week. I'm returning mine after trying them on for less than five minutes. Too small for me.
