Shopping in Times Square?

Hello all,

Unfortunately, I recently moved to an office located in Times Square (near 7th and 42nd to be more specific). Now for better or worse I like to spend my spare time shopping -- and on occasion, I'll have a bit of spare time during work hours -- nothing that long, maybe 15 to 20 minutes here and there after lunch....Because my time is so limited, i simply don't have time to jump on the subway and back or take a cab, etc. -- again, i'm looking for something quick/easy/mindless....

Is there anything around Times Square that's decent for shopping purposes? Look, I know I'm not going to find a Barneys or anything, but even something along the lines of J Crew could liven up my day...(I will pass on The Gap and Champs, however)....

Many thanks in advance....

5th avenue isn't too far. The Orvis store on 5th and 44th is awesome and has a huge barbour selection. Not too mention a full fishing proshop in the back if you're a fly angler.

Muji opened a store in the Times building across from port authority. Levis store right there in Times Square. I work right in the area too and I don't know of much These are just off the top of my head. JCrew in Rockefeller plaza, but that's kinda far for a 20 minute break.

walk over to 5th, it's not that far away if you have a little time.

or, you can always get a twin towers figurine to go with your statue of liberty foam hat
