Challenge number one: Keanu Reeves to Jesse Ventura.

I can do it in five moves. Beat it or match it.

Reeves was in Johnny Mnemonic with Ice-T, who was in Colors with Maria Conchita Alonso, who was in The Running Man with Jesse Ventura. Bam.

Good idea. Tyra Banks to James Gandolfini (Sopranos, not a movie). This one isn't easy-but everyone involved is well known. The Sopranos is the only TV show involved, all else are feature films. My compliments to whoever gets it because I don't think IMDB will solve this one...

Tyra Banks in Higher Learning to Micheal Rapaport Rapaport to Gandolfini in True Romance. No tv shows allowed, by the way, but if you insist on doing that, Banks in Higher Learning to Lawrence Fishburne, Fishburne to Joe Pantoliano in the Matrix Pantoliano to James Gandolfini in The Sopranos.

Neither was the path I'm thinking of...

OK another hint for mine, because it's fairly difficult. The second person is a main character in Higher Learning, male, black.

Yes. A few friends did it, so there are 4 ways that I'm aware of, but nobody has been able to figure mine out yet even though the hardest link has won well known awards before.

Well reading your mind is not the name of the game. Trying to figure out the closest connection is.
