It may not be the most hearty of dishes, but is delicious when made properly. Why is quiche lambasted as a meal for the effete?

Using the word "effete" strikes me as very effete, quiche-eater.

quiche ive eaten in my life, 9.5 out of 10 it's bad.

(meaning, that one out of ten is still a half out of one, so that one that wasnt bad was still halfway bad)

The Macrina Bakery in Seattle makes a nice quiche that I eat more than I should. However, it's a more lighter, americanized version of quiche with just a few ingredients.
