Not being a bourbon drinker at all, I assume the only way to drink this is neat?

Yes, especially the Family Reserve. Their cheaper bottles might be ok in a drink, but for the most part - neat (or on the rocks) is the only way to go.

Remember, I am a no0b.. I assume the 20 yo is not one of the cheaper bottles then?

I am looking forward to this.. My first taste of bourbon since the 80s.. lol..

Well just picked up a bottle of Knob Creek that I have happily discovered my whisky shop does. Not cheap at £30 a bottle but damn its worth it.

the rip van winkle line proabably should be neat at all times honestly even the 10 year old is good neat, i would say mix other brands, but rip van winkle.
