DeNiro and Pacino probably made their worst movie together, which is pretty funny...

To settle this despute forevar you guys just need to rent :"Righteous Kill" with both of them...Don't tell me I did not warn you.

Spoiler: They both suck so bad now it is painfull to watch.

Original Eastern Promises were neither Eastern nor held any Promise. Discuss

I saw righteous kill; it's the movie I was referring to when I said their worst performance was together.

I didn't like Eastern Promises either, no contest.

Pacino is entertaining even in bad movies - a bit of the Jack Nicholson there. Any Given Sunday!!!!!

I want to defend De Niro, but he hasn't made a watchable movie since Ronin (which I love love love). Maybe The Score. Maybe.

Now if only Michael Mann would get around to making a sequel for Miami Vice, all would be well.

He never makes sequels

Actually, during Miami Vice's press tour, he was considering Miami Vice 2. Dunno what's up with it now (prolly nothing), but it would've been a significantly smaller film, set only in Miami. Which makes sense, considering how expensive MV was and all the setbacks due to filming in a variety of locations.

I don't think he'll get around to doing it (MV was not the huge financial success the studios were expecting), but it'd be nice if he did.

I would love to see a sequel but it kinda breaks the trend of not having numbers in Mann's titles. Miami Vice 2 I don't like the sound of it. However, I do want to see Crockett and Tubbs find Arcangel de Jesus Montoya.

I enjoyed A History Of Violence over Eastern Promises.
