I remember Alex Kabbaz making the argument that his customers don't buy any of his shirts because they're trendy or 'cool.' But, doesn't such infomercials serve to attract the very people to seek him out that he proclaims he despises? A lot of the readers of Robb's Report are....

FYI, I am in absolute agreement with you. Therefore, let's get a couple of things straight: 1] "But, doesn't such infomercials ..." is incorrect. It should be "But, don't such informercials ..." 2] An infomercial is a paid commercial played under the guise of being news or other editorial material, usually with the word "advertisement" - in very small type - preceeding the play. It is not an editorial article written by magazine staff about that which they consider newsworthy. 3] I never said that I despise anyone. I have said that I dislike "fashion". I have said that quality clothing should be "timeless". Despise? The only thing I really despise is having things attributed to me which I did not say. Now here's the facts: 4] I did not know the editors of Robb Report were writing that article. They ostensibly borrowed a few shirts from me to use for a suit photo shoot. End of story. Again, thanks to all the others of you for your kind words.

Since we're getting things straight, let's get one thing straight, Smart-Alex: 1] "But, don't such informercials ..." contains a misspelling. It should be: "But, don't such infomercials ..." IN-FO-MER-CIALS Now, let's all try it together...

I most righteously disagree, JA. That is absolutely not a misspelling. It is a typo.
