Proactiv? - Page 2

The benzoyl peroxide solution in ProActive is way to drying for my skin. I have really sensitive skin, but I've seen a huge improvement since I've used Kinerase. The daily cleanser rocks. The best is the anti-aging cream though. My skin has become so much smoother since using it. Incidently, Courtney Cox is the spokeswoman for Kinerase now. Looks like all the stars are backing skin care products now.

Hmm, just wondering, you try any internal medication before? Go to your doctor, and ask him to prescripe something for your condition. A pill a day and you will have much better skin in no time.
There's no easy way to medicate acne. Doctors usually prescribe antibiotics, which may help but the benefits usually wear off after a few months. The other option is Accutane, which is kind of extreme. Not that the benefits aren't great for some people, it's just that the side effects should be considered carefully. It's not as simple as just going to the doctor for a pill a day.

Accutane has some very significant side effects, you should consider it only as a last last resort...

I just ordered proactiv ( 3 piece system). I was wondering if I should expect my skin to look bad in the first week of using proactiv and only after a couple of weeks will it improve??? or will my skin start to improve within the first week of using proactiv???? PS: I do not suffer from bad acne but simply want the clearest skin possible

Should start to improve immediately; benzoyl peroxide is not a retinoid like Differin/Retin-A, so you won't go through that "worse before better" phase.
