I like the contrast that develops when jeans are cuffed, the dye stays intact as the rest of the denim fades. Nicely done.

I'm right at one year of actual wear on my MFSC 7161s, so I thought I'd post up some photos. These started out as one wash, and they've been hand washed about 8 times, and machine washed once. I wasn't going for high contrast fades at all. These jeans could easily go at least another six months, but they'll be hanging in the closet for pretty much the whole next year with the Roy contest going on. I adjusted light levels on some of the photos so they were all about the same, but no other adjustments were made. And just for fun, here's what they looked like right out of the box

what a silly looking pair of jeans! i really don't mean that as an insult, i think i really like them. the pockets look like they were done in 'little kid making a quilt style'.
what's the circle? condom fade?

alright guys, my somets are at like OLD status and the back pocket is straight up disintegrating (the one where I keep my wallet). moving my wallet to my right rear pocket is not an option, does anybody have any ideas on how to save my pocket? I really don't don't want to toss the jeans yet, as the knees are still solid but I need my pocket

1. e-mail or call blue in green and ask them to send you some somet scraps from hemmings and what not and you can either make a pocket out of them or have denim doctors/htc do it for you. 2. send them to dd/htc to see if they can save the pocket. those people can fix just about anything. 3. learn japanese and call or e-mail somet and ask them to send you the denim for a new pocket. happy new year!

Little bits of it are, such as the buckle back and inner button fly, but mostly SC40301 (Okinawa- left leg and right pocket) and SC40401 (Hawaii- right leg and left pocket). Out with the old, in with the new!

my KMW 1950's japanese etc. 3 years, washed a handful of times. soaked in the ocean a few times. i have done all the repairs myself. the cuffs have been reinforced as they were always cuffed and ripped around. the crotch has blown out two or three times... they are now being retired. PRPS ramblers.. same style jean almost and weight and color when they were new. I couldn't find another pair of KMW 1950s for a right price

Few bad lighting pictures of my KMW 1980's Little over 2 years and 2 washes. Repairs to the crotch and back right pocket, more repairs coming above the back left pocket. Sorry for the poor lighting etc. Excited to see other people rocking KMW's these have been my favorite jeans I've owned.
