Correct, it will eventually wear out. But the jeans will have kick-ass wear marks.

just sized up on my Flatheads. They still seem tight and measure out to a 32, not a 33 like indicated on SelfEdge.

does anyone have a picture of some KMW after a while. I have been rocking my pair for about a month now, but just want to see what some others look like.

IMO, Don't soak until you absolutely have to.

i would strongly recommend an initial soak for these jeans. it is inevitable that he will have to wash these eventually at which point the flat heat denim will shrink significantly. why not just buy the right size and shrink to fit via initial soak? dont think this is a jean you want to size down on.

im very happy with the fit of my f380 after a 2 hr hot soak. also can't say i lost too much indigo since my hands are still get stained blue after wearing these.

Absolutely +1. These are not APCs. I don't think they're even sanforized, are they? You need to soak them.

Definately not sanforized. I just got my F380s in the mail yesterday and did a lukewarm soak and they still shrank about 3/4 to 1" in the waist and 1.5" inseam. I didn't do a hot soak because I'm tall and wanted to keep most of the length. I'm really happy with them though, they fit perfectly post soak. I'll post fit pictures when I find my camera.

again, not sanforized, and do not size down. my f310 have the biggest tagged size of all the jeans in my rotation at a 34x36, yet they are slimmer than my Ironheart 634s which are size 32

btw, i posted the pre and post soak measurements of the flatheads in the jeans measurement thread a couple weeks ago.

Sorry for giving bad advice. When I get some FH denim I'll be sure to soak it.

Yea but I'm kind of mad because I normally wear a 31 in Dior and Nudie and stuff. I originally got the 310's in a 31 and they were pretty tight but figured a 32 would be perfect, based on adding an inch to the measured waist. Well I got the 32's and they fit almost exactly the same and the waist measures out to a 32, if not a bit smaller. And on SelfEdge a tagged 32 is listed as measuring out to a 33 but there's no way mine measure out to a 33.

So I got these in the buying and selling section if anybody is interested. I may get yet another pair in a 33, or possibly some F380's in a 33 if anyone buys these. PM me I'll hook you up with a good price if your interested.

My 45 rpm Sorahikos. Bought em almost exactly a year ago, but had em in rotation barely getting any attention until a june, But that's unneeded information. A couple of soaks but apparently 45 rpm washes them when you repair them so the count gets a little complicated, since they have been repaired by 45 a LOT.

This is the closest representation of the color. You could see how light it is compare to the raw-ish sugarcane denim jacket.

I am a horrible photographer, but i thought i'd share cause it sounded like fun.

rigid 517's at just about a week over 3 months. They are work jeans so they've seen a few washes and soaks in their short life to remove thick caked on mud nothing spectacular but...
