I gave up on Diors after I bought a raw pair made in Italy one size too small and they never freakin stretched. But your look amazing. cheers.

Unlike most I've seen I really like those diors.

capnpyro, those are a great fit. How tight were they when new? The folks at sufu have assured me that these 21CM MIJs will stretch enough in the thighs/ass

Yeah, I remember reading on sufu that they're dyed differently than most repro stuff, so they look better washed every 2-3 months (or w/e) than annually.

Great, great fade tho.

Ande Whall Black Grifters - great details with hidden selvage on the fly, coin pocket, and all belt loops.

I promise post up my Dior MIJ 19cm soon. Bought almost two years ago as my second "premium" denim purchase... I remember being (still am) so stoked on the fit and anticipating the best fades after paying my dues wearing them without touching water for many months. Well, they didn't do shit. Finally, out of frustration and hygine I washed 'em. Though the indigo loss was minimal, the change in wear was almost immediate. They started to look like the jeans I dreamed of when I first decided on purchasing them over all the other contenders. It's been almost 2 years now and I've washed them maybe every other month since the first time. I've bought a few other jeans since, inc. OG Helmut Lang and some Skulls, but I can't shake the Dior fit. I'm not gonn bother... It will be my next purchase as well.

Yeah, I don't know the particulars of dyeing, but Dior MIJ denim fades nicely. A perfect example of why the selvage obsession is a bit overdone, but w/e. BTW for a while the trendy thing to say on sufu was that MII faded better. Having seen mine, I don't think that's true. They turn out good and are pretty unique, but I think MIJ is worth the premium.

dcg- those fit great, i assure you they'll stretch enough in the thighs/ass. they start out fitting normal jeanish then after a couple months they evolve into that slouchy dior look.

i agree sir, i have SD 103's, Samurais, sf x 5ep sitting on my closet shelf all waiting to be broken in, i've worn them all for ~1 month and can't get away from the Dior fit either.. as evidenced by my 2nd pair of 21cms in a row.. I'm wearing the ones I just washed now and I like them even better.. again.

large pics warning..

not sure if this is the best place to ask but here's my situation:

yesterday, washed my jeans for the first time in a washing machine. I put my jeans in, squeezed about 5 squirts of dr. bronner's onto my jeans and washed on delicate/handwash. took them out to dry overnight and in the morning, found that my jeans had been stained by the bronner's. I threw them in the wash again and sun dried them all day and when I came back to work, the same thing.

Did some scrubbing with water and a sponge and this was the best I could do:

fit:

hopefully they'll just fade over time...but where did I go wrong? has this happened to anyone else?
