i got the NS. i wonder how much they stretch behind my calves and thighs. the flat front has widened along w/ the waste. i am fat no doubt.

Probably depends on how you wear them (by how I mean what you do in them). As for the softening, you can always starch them a bit to get that raw feeling again. I know I'll be doing that as soon as my NCs start softening up.

FYI, I sit in an office all day, and in the summer I tend the garden in them.
I think they looked better prewash.

Not to slag on Confurious' jeans whatsoever (they're beautiful), but it really does amaze me what a good photo (and a fair bit of contrast/sharpening) can do to invoke comments.
