my true size is 29x30, and i bought this size 29x32 and soak them on first day in case they will shrink the length. First week, they were very tight, stiff, and high rise but after 2 or 3 weeks, they waist stretch maybe 1 inch so lower the rise and now fit great.

In the patternmaking world this is called "grown on" always found the term quite amusing. You can do a whole bunch of other things with grown on patternwork. Did you take a label of the back pocket Cheap?

Nice, but I think that they would look even better if you pulled the jeans down to to the hips. I think that I saw a guy wearing these really well once, and he was wearing them low on the hips. That way, the top block looked straighter than in does here, and the antifit with the dropped crotch looked really good. Sort of the slouchy look that Corpus shows on their site (or at least, did), but more authentic looking.

Hello everyone. A newbie here and one that probably in the minority. I really like allot of LVCs and own a few. I always read how some of the Japanese makers stuff is better and that is subjective. I have a friend that has a pretty extensive collection of original Levis and some LVCs. I have had the chance to view allot of originals still raw with tags especially late 40s early 50s originals. Now I just want to say that I'm in no way putting down the quality of some of these other brands because it really is what you as a consumer are looking for. Having said that LVC on allot of their repros get weight and texture right compared to originals. Some other makers over do their denim and that just makes for better denim but thats not what I'm into as much as authenticity is. Well enough chat heres a few photos of some of my LVCs which is a ever changing collection. I bought all of my LVCs raw with only a couple exceptions and they were one soaks.
A really rare pair from a year ago. 1886 the first 501. These were raw when new. I wore them 3 moths and just cold soaked a couple of weeks ago. Green/Blue line denim is AWESOME. 9oz just like the originals.Almost 4 months of everyday wear.

Thanks Brian. I'll post more on the 1886s after about 6 months or so.

Can't say I dig any of those Levi's. With that being said, the fade/color on the first pair looks good.

Just classic anti fit. I like it cause not many people have jeans like these. The trend right now is low rise slim. In a few years that will all change again and the classic :evis fit will still be around. Actually the 55s fit allot like modern STF 501s with the 33s and the 1886s a bit looser.
