These shoes used to be available from GVH anywhere from $350-$400. It was hit or miss with the trees for some folks. I ordered from them 3 times total, and in every instance I got trees. $700 is certainly no deal, especially in this economy. It wouldn't surprise me if it didn't include trees and you found the trees on e-bay for an additional 20 bucks.

Yeah tell me about it, I used to be able to get their C&J for Polo shoes for around $150 all the time. Not any more. They usually have high starting prices with BIN.

Get this ****.... I bought a pair 3 days ago... They canceled my order because their "inventory was messed up and they did not have them." I emailed when they canceled, & they told me that they would be listing this lot.... They did not tell me, however, that the new RLPLs would be $130 more than what I paid 3 days ago.

I would size down half size from what GVH has listed on the 89 last, its a high volume last.IMO. If you are a 10.5D, get a 10 in the 89 last size listed on GVH.

Regards.

I'm surprised given the GVH pricing and the selection in 12 that no one is interested in the BNIB Grants I have listed.

thanks for the corroboration. the Hewitts on the site (are they still there?) are 9.5, so they should fit my 10D foot. but i still think i'll pass....

unfortunate sizing i think. 2.5 sizes smaller and i guarantee those would have been gone in 5 minutes (because i opened your thread at that time and cursed that they weren't my size

The "Stern" are really nice; it's too bad they don't have my size (9). I ended up picking a pair of Herends for $270. I hope they fit. I wear 9D in AE Park Avenue.
