Best mini home grill? (Foreman, etc)

I need to replace my old Foreman (is heating unevenly, stuff is sticking) and I couldn't find the same model online.

I want to spend $60 or $70 tops.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Is the new 'design' any good? Reading the reviews, people are saying that it's not getting hot enough. I mainly use mine to cook chicken, but I will occasionally do a steak, and I need something that's going to get hot quickly and cook fast.

hmm that's interesting. would you use that cook outside? I am lazy and I hate flipping stuff, and I end up sticking this on my porch half the time so the steam doesn't stink up my house.

you plug it in an outlet

and you do have to flip

I have a Foreman and love it. I hear Crate and Barrel sells a really nice one too, but it might be expensive.

i've got a griddler. i like it better than my old foreman because it has the ability to open up and lay flat. and it has interchangable plates which makes its pretty versatile for steaks, chicken, sausage, sandwiches, eggs, etc.

you can probably find it on sale for less than $100 or wait for bbb to put it on sale and use a coupon to get the price down to $70.

+1 on the Cusinart Griddler. It's actually a decent cooking machine and can sear impressively well. The removable plates are great for throwing in the dish washer.. So much better then a Forman....

Back in the day, I used to buy one of those $20 gas portable grills at Home Depot. Use it for a year and then throw it away. Of course, it only works outside.

My Foreman has removable and interchangeable plates (waffle/grill/griddle), can lay flat, has selectable temps, and adjustable angles.

The G4 from Target. I paid $80 for it in the store. If you look around a bit, I'm sure you can find it cheap. http://www.target.com/George-Foreman..._grills&page=1
