Hmm. Once you start with the dynamic stuff (kettlebells, etc) there is no going back, is there?

I've made my own clubbells before from metal piping and I love them.

well I have one of those plate-loading kettlestacks here in my dorm, and back home I have a 45 lb cast kettlebell. Besides that I have pieces of furniture, not much else. Considering getting a hammer, there are some cheap heavy ones on the interwebz but the shipping just kills me.

I can't do plate loaded kettlebells, real ones are so much better, and only the good ones anyway.

Make your own clubbell, it's easy and costs like $25 and 10 minutes of work, I love mine for warmups and certain specific shit.

oh, yeah. I also want to fill a large rubber ball with water.

for traveling, I have 2 20 liter collapsable jerrycans that I use like kettlebells.

is what I have. they last me about 6 months, maybe 25 uses before the handle breaks. but that is worth it for me.

they're great for travel - people sell these travel kits that weigh 10 pounds and cost 50 bucks - these give you a real workout and cost 5 bucks each. but they do break, eventually

what happens when they break? there's a torrent of water that explodes from the crash? You probably give hotel staff a chore cleaning that up

that's what they get the big bucks for....

no, actually, the weakest part is the handle, it flies out of your hands and lands someplace, cause it usually happens on an upswing, and then you get a small hole where the handle broke, so I just scoop it up and throw it into the bathtub. not too much mess.
