I have a pair of Red Wing Chelseas for sale. I bought them last fall and used them over the winter, but the leather has been well kept, treated with mink oil, rotated and stored with trees, and they still have a lifetime of use in them.
For fit reference, I wear an Allen-Edmonds 11.5E (Easton "zero last") or 12D (Leeds, slightly loose). The Red Wings were worn with insoles and are still roomy enough for thick wool socks. In European sizes, these boots would work for 45-46.
