Shy girls are incredible if they open up with a little charm. They are a nightmare if talking to them is like a 2nd job. Most are like that, so though I like them in principle, no thanks.

You have to learn to think like a shy woman. Even then, it requires a lot of practice. Don't be discouraged though.

Shy women are just like any women you just have to be a little more patient. My GF is a shy chick and I went after just like any other woman. If you are good at looking you'll see that they send the same signals that other women send. likewise, don't confuse disinterest with shyness.

My ex was shy, but also an alcoholic so I just got her drunk.

+1. Don't talk a lot either, keep it tapered. She used to tell me to shut up a lot. I can't help it that I like the sound of my own voice.

Get used to doing all the talking for a while - but eventually you'll have opened a Pandora's box and they will hurt your ears with all their talking!

We're all shy to an extent.

My advice is to go overboard on the charm. Really pay attention to them and show them that they are a worthwhile person. 99% of shy people are shy because they innately believe they are worthless, and if you tell her otherwise (or lie to her about it if that's your gig), and make her really believe it, you'll be off at her house in no time.
