Any idea what the width is?

Not a bad price, but the minimum $10 shipping is galling.

No idea on width. I would guess pretty traditional.

I kind of balked at the shipping cost too. I still bought one.

The proper width of a tie has traditionally been 3 1/4" and most Ben Silver neckwear is cut to this size, with exceptions for larger men who require a slightly wider blade (the outer, visible portion of the necktie.) This is a size that will never be affected by the vicissitudes of fashion.

Does anyone know where these are manufactured? England? Italy? US? China?

Me too. $65 for a grenadine is still a good price.

I called them about the tie. It is 3.5" and made in the US.

So what's so special about a Grenadine? Is this the tie equivalent of shell cordovan or something?

Solid color, but intricate texture. Looks like a plain tie from far away, but once you get close, you see that's there a lot going on. I think that subtlety is pretty sweet.

I was going to order a pair of silk knot links from JPress once. They wanted $15 shipping. The item cost about $15.

I'd love to find a solid black one on sale.

Once you get to the $55-$60 price point, Sam Hober isn't far off, is it?
