^Sorry to hear your Boston got his ear nicked, but aggressive dogs sometimes kill small dogs in these dog parks. Your little boy got off easy. Prudent dog owners shun dog parks and dog beaches.

I keep my dogs out of dog parks for the opposite reason: I don't want them killing or seriously injuring another dog...and I don't like paying vet bills should they tangle with a really tough customer.

It's 00:35 and fireworks are on and I'm sitting in a completely dark room with dog hiding waiting for it to end.

It has been basically since 1/12 and today from 15:00 where some idiot threw a bang granade 20m away from us.

He hasn't been outside the apartment since 15:30, I can't imagine how much he has to pee.

Same here. My dog isn't super aggressive but she is very defensive of me, my daughter and my other dog, and will respond to threats without apprehension. She's also really strong and could kill another dog if she wanted to.

I stopped being a member of my local dog park after a couple of close calls my dog (~20lbs. at the time) had with large aggressive dogs on two separate occasions. One of the owners of the large dogs took the attitude that her dog was just playing when it was clear that mine was being tormented and bitten. She and I had a very unpleasant exchange. The other owner on a different occasion was off chatting with someone and not paying any attention whatsoever to his unruly dog. No more dog parks for my dog.

Just spend 1 1/2 hour at the vet after the dog decided to eat some tinfoil at the dog park.

So he spent the better part of an hour throwing up and shitting himself and all for the fair price of 135 $.

Damn, and I just vacuumed and dumped the canister....what a waste

Wish I knew of this when my GS was alive. I had to vacuum daily because of her shedding.

Yeah it could have been MUCH worse, they had two dogs in where the owner had waited and the where going to have to surgery.

Oh yeah the nabour got mad at me for using their apartment buildings lawn and not the pavement (which was full of glass) and as we all know its much easier to remove sick from brick than grass.

My mother used to give away our bearded collies fur after it had been groomed, so someone could make sweaters out of it.

It's apparently great for it, as some dogs fur is water repellant.

My dog was lying on the sofa right next to me all of a sudden he sit up and looks at me like oh shit.

Put him on down on the floor immediately lifted up his tail and he had shit himself.

I don't know to laugh or cry.
