Assuming your breeder has vetted this person, tough it out and make this happen. It will be the easiest and best solution for the puppy.

Good luck.

If it were me I would just get rid of the GF, but I understand why most would take the route you have chosen instead.

I once put off moving in with a GF because I wanted to find a decent home for my personal dog.  A dog friend offered to shoot her for me. Never really sure if he meant the dog or the girlfriend.

Can't shoot either of them, unfortunately. Thanks for the advice. We plan on sticking it out for the time being.

Albert (with floppy ears) and my mom's (fritz cropped ears) same litter, totally different.

I prefer floppy (and undocked tails)

I don't know. The little dude in the background looks all fierce and shit.

I don't want another fierce looking dog because people assume they are vicious.  If another dog starts a fight with your fierce looking dog, people will automatically blame your dog because it looks fierce, ect.

Girl is getting allergy shots. We brought him to the airport, put him in his kennel, and couldn't pull the trigger. He's a great dog and we're willing to make sacrifices to keep him -- so expect more pictures of him as he gets older in here.

My Pal "Joe The Plumber" 's 2 year old English Setter "Nello".  He won him at some auction.

It was a beautiful day.  It's not over yet, but I'm glad armageddon hasn't ruined it thus far.

Are you sure? That's a hell of a commitment to make.

His name is Joe and he is a plumber, but he is not THE "Joe the Plumber" from the 2008 elections.  If thats what you are asking.

Yup.  When he was a puppy.  From the Ruffed Grouse Society banquet or something.  I guess he was from a good field line or something.  You know how auctions turn in to pissing contests among men.  I don't know exactly what he paid for it, but I'm pretty sure it was over $2K.  The dog has a lot of natural hunting ability.

I've seen fox hounds auctioned in a similar manner at fund raiser/banquets for the History Center where I live, which has a rich heritage in fox hunting.  You know, like when they ride the horses and shout "Tally-ho!" while wearing red wool riding coats chasing after 20+ barking dogs who are tracking the scent of a fox?  They don't use real foxes anymore though, they just drag a fake with artificial scent on it behind a horse through the woods, and thats the scent the dogs follow.  Using real foxes is considered cruel nowadays.
