Mothers Day 2009

Already have my mothers gift picked out. Now the hard part...my mother in law.

I want to get her a set of cookware (pans) since she loves to cook--everyday.

Is All-Clad or Viking the way to go? Is one better than the other?

^ I take your recommendation seriously, since you are a chef. Is All-Clad really that much better? Just wondering.

Not a chef! Not even a cook. Just studying to be one. I won't be a chef for a very, very long time of paying my dues, and even then I'll only be a chef if I'm lucky.

But All-Clad is the best. There is a lot of debate whether or not it's good enough to be worth the increase in price. IMO, if she's a serious cook and you can (and don't mind to) swing the money, there's nothing better on the market.
