Georgie boy- It sucks, but if you have to live at home for a bit to get on your feet and find a decent paying job you can support yourself with, it's not terrible if your mum and her bf are cool with it. You may not be able to get a full time salaried job in this current environment with no experience and no college degree. As much as it's great to shoot for the moon and all that jazz, it may be best to pull together 2-3 part time jobs to just pay the rent and give you some money. There has to be some mediocre part time jobs you could pull despite the recession. Waiting tables, delivering pizza if done at a relatively high volume place and net you solid part time money. It's not salaried position but if you just want a job, go for it.
While working 2 shitty part time jobs keep looking and applying for better ones. You'll just have a little bit of money in the mean time. The market may get better so who knows
