No, i'm rather wondering why everyone here has a "minimalistic" approach to fashion?
I mean, what's the general aesthetic here?

What's the general age group here?
And what do you guys wear to clubs / lounge's / bars?

every popular clothing-related forum has its own respective groupthink. superfuture applauds "it" brands and the sorts of things you'd read about on hypebeast and ACL, stylezeitgeist seems to be in a state of deconstructing EVERYTHING (or worshipping most things carol christian poell) . bringing up something like salvage isn't new or innovative -- it's

branch out. look at the entertainment/culture & social life threads and you can get a feel for the general demographic. it's pretty wide but most of us are at the very least in our 20s.

pft. I am open to experimenting with any style. Who has set tastes? Of course not everyone is going to like the same brands I do, but to hate it so much is bizarre. Is it purely because of the price? You say it's crap, but wearing these pieces of clothing does give you a different look compared with wearing a polo. You say it has cookie-cutter design, but what other brand does it the same way? Seriously, I can't imagine a world where everyone wears clothing that has no design/print. Show me a clothing brand that can do the same look and feel as Salvage/Affliction but without the shirt designs. If that's your opinion of Salvage, then what's your opinion about Affliction, which have hand-drawn designs. But I guess that doesn't really matter since that will just bring up old arguments brought up in past topics. And I'm not even saying I like the majority of Salvage clothing. I like a few pieces of outerwear which seem to be of higher quality than Affliction outerwear. but wish they were less pricey.

okay, but where the **** does it say that anywhere in this forum? And why does everyone have the same tastes here? Or is it just that they gradually took over and everyone else left?

Hanes does enzyme / mineral washes and fabric distressing? Show me.

Forget it.
If this is Forum that only appreciates "Minimalistic styles" why the **** doesn't it say that anywhere if you want to keep everyone else out?

No more trolling I will find another forum for these discussions.

dude. we're not going to talk you out of buying salvage/affliction... but you're not going to convince us that it's a quality brand.

that is not my intention, but rather, I want to be convinced that there are better quality brands that make shirts / outerwear with hand-drawn designs. Which led to someone saying that less is more --> which leads me to assume that everyone here wears polo's and striped shirts. Nothing wrong with that. god. How come the guy with the H&M thread doesn't get flamed? I thought H&M was subpar quality.

If you want a good selection of salvage/affliction type clothing visit buckle.com. If you havent heard of it already its a good place to shop for that type of look.
