When I first saw the band's name I thought it was a joke side project of Strawberry Alarm Clock, but these guys rock. If you like the Stones, the Kinks, or anything in between or beyond (esp. in a psych direction) you should check them out. This PSA brought to you by quesadillas, the breakfast of champions.

One of the greatest garage bands. You should also check the Standells. They both appear in "Riot in Sunset Strip", shot in 1967. Typical psychedelic exploitation flick, but it's a great movie for those interested in garage, and the music is great.

And of course, if you haven't got it already, get the Nuggets compilation. It's a great overview of 60's garage. But be forewarned, that garage is addictive as hell. Fuzz and farfisa!

Shit, this is good. Thanks for posting it. Amazon has their complete recordings on two cds for $26. I'm tempted.

Half their stuff is the Stones imitation band, the other half is 'filler' psychedelia recorded by studio musicians, though that stuff is great as well. etc: (w/ tat style db)
