I have the CJ Cottesmore, which I highly recommend. Double leather sole, high quality, good fit, good slightly pointy last. Perhaps an expensive bargain to be had right now is if you can locate the RLPL suede jodhpur. They are going for about $500-600 right now from secondary sources. made by EG On the other end, I have seen some pics of Loakes and Barkers which looked perfectly fine too. They should be well under $300 right now. The ultimate for me would be the EG calf model, but probably around $900 right now. some pics Cottesmore:

The barker blacks (you know where) are a good fit for you?

Right, right! I forgot about BB. See, this is why I started the thread.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to keep either pair of the Archdales for fit issues. I suppose I could have kept the US13s but alas, they are gone

.

I'll give them a call.

Alfred Sargent makes/made the Childrey which isn't quite as nice as the Cottesmore but is about half the price.

I have the Cottesmore, which is on the 341. It's sized 12D in Barney's sizing, which I believe to be equivalent to an 11.5 E in C&J sizing. It's a great boot and mine are barely worn. You want to buy them? I'll throw in the box free.

More like a 11E in CJ sizing.

I've been looking for a pair of jodhpurs myself and am considering the Childrey by Alfred Sargent:

There's also the Lambourne which I believe is just the Childrey in black:

If money were no object though I'd probably be leaning towards the EG Gresham:
