another "critique this suit" on me thread... - Page 3

the brown suit is almost perfect in terms of sizing. Looks great on you, three buttons is indeed better for your figure. The black suits is, well, black : one benefit of a black suit is that it elongates the body, makes people look slimmer. And this works very well for your body type, no offense meant. The contrast is not very good, so I can't comment on whatever imperfections there might be. Anyway, these suits look great on you. .luc

YES. Very nice. Absolutely smashing with the brown 3-button. You don't often see a ticket pocket with that color of suit, but I think it is quite sharp in this instance. I just think the 3-button cut does a little more for you than the 2. Sleeves do look a bit longer on the black one, could be due to camera angle, but I don't see the cuff that I would like to see on that one. They both look like they are quality pieces.

Nice apartment. Simple and uncluttered. Nice touch with light yellow wall and white trim on base boards and door frames. Paneled door adds detail but still maintains clean line. If you could remove the bookcase by the bathroom, it'd make it cleaner. The slipcover sofa, is it Spinnaker from Crate and Barrel? If you own the apartment, you should look into adding crown molding. My only qualm is the bathroom opens directly into the living room, but there's nothing you can do about it.

Ha-ha - thanks for the critique. The sofa is not crate & barrel, but a circa 1999 restoration hardware. If we owned, we'd not only put in crown molding, but we'd buy the apartment above us, drop in a staircase, enclose part of the deck in a greenhouse, &c. Alas, our czech/ukranian/russing landlord has not yet taken the condo-ization route.
