a. true to size b. awesome, I get tons of compliments on my taylors or my beatas c. they would be better to get on sale, but they're cool sneakers and don't show wear hardly at all, which is great

tatet- being true to size and Zuriick not having half sizes, should i take a 11 ? I heard that they stretch quite abit..

btw i wanna get those Ake Slip-ons..Beatas are great imo.

thks for that info

Their website says to order a half size up if you're in the middle, so I would do that lol

A) I have a pair of the Beatas, I am generally an 11.5 in most sneaker-type shoes and decided to get the 12s. I think they end up running a little small so I would size up. I haven't experienced much stretching and I've been wearing them for around 6 months.

B) They are a low profile shoe so there is not much cushioning. I wouldn't recommend them for walking long distances. Despite this, they do look really good...

C) No complaints about quality yet. I paid full price for mine and I think it was worth it.

Where are you ordering them from?

Hey rob! thks man. will be getting a 12 probably. I am thinking of getting them from bigcartel. The main Zuriick site. Any alternatives? Looking for someone carrying these with resonable International Shipping cost.

I think they'll be on sale soon. I wouldn't pay retail but I do like them.

I ordered a pair of red leather Thomas' today. I'll let you know how they work out. Bwahaha. If they fit, I plan on getting a pair of Alberts or Jakobs.

I tried this brand on at UO recently and had to take a size 12, which is 1/2 size up for me.

Looks like the Taylors are on sale now at zuriick.com? I have them in 11. I've worn them for about 9 months. Quality.

Hossoso : Hopefully they have one soon..i need to get them fast before i splurge* elsewhere on other stuff.

* After i sell of my CPs..still no takers..

melona : where u got yours from buddy? wld u be able to get me a pair of Ake?

Pink: yeah dude..i am sizing up. it was stated on their web and info from Tatet states thta sizing UP wld be the right choice.

Hobbes: Oh great. But their shipping is a KILLER. $30 bucks to ship international. Thats even more than a pair of Ake Canary on Sale. Hope they can do something abt the shipping. Thks for the info abt the quality. Seems these are decent.

Thks for your input dudes.

No, I just ordered them from their website.

Just got a pair of the Ake Bronx and am happy with them. A bit pricey at $65 shipped for what you get-- a canvas plimsole slip-on. The colors are unique. Some comparable shoes (some of them cheaper) available at Topman (this is a recent British trend, after all). Mine (in size 9) run true to size.

I've had a pair of Alberts for over a year, but I don't wear them often. I would recommend going up half a size for sure. Also, the midsole is very thin, I feel like I'm wearing wrestling shoes with them on. That said, I like them a lot, have gotten lots of compliments and always feel like I should be wearing them more. They've got a number of styles on sale right now at urbanoutfitters.com so check that out before paying retail. Bottom Line: Pros: Cheap, Stylish, Durable Cons: Not very supportive.

Having worn my Akes for a week, I recommend anyone interested in Zuriick to GET THE LACE-UPS, not a slip-on. I mean, if you get it in your size, you need a shoe horn to get it on, which is fine once in the morning, but visiting a friend, gf, whatever. No shoe should be this hard to get on and off. They are just not very elastic when it comes to slipping them on. Just my 2 cents.
