Anyone have any info on the quality/sizing of these WeSC cloptons? http://www.endless.com/WeSC-Clopton-Lace-Up-Fashion-Sneaker/dp/B005215PXO

I'm trying to decide between these in all white or white with gum sole and the leather purcells. I'll be taking a trip where I'll be walking a lot and wearing slim jeans and chinos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Basically I'm looking for an inexpensive plain white sneaker. I've read and lurked and I like both of these options.

Recommendation for a dark blue like indigo colored jeans...?

I don't want a washed one. And it should be skinny/slimfit.

Thx :)

Depends on how much you're willing to spend.  If you want to get into a bit higher end stuff right away, I'd look into 3sixteen

If you want something more introductory, I think Crate or Naked and Famous might be up your alley.  I can't speak for the construction though.

recommendation for thick knit cardigans or sweaters?

I'm looking for a nice sports jacket or blazer. I don't know if I should post here or in mens clothing, but since I usually wear "streetwear and denim" and the plan is to use it together with jeans I'm posting here. It should be blue and I want it to be as casual looking as a sports jacket can be, the plan is to wear it with t-shirts or something like that.

Edit: Actually, after reading a bit both on this site and some other places, I see that most people find t-shirts and blazers to be a horrible combination. I understand why, so I'm kind of wondering if I should even get a blazer right now. That gives me an even lager problem. I want to wear nice shoes. But I can't have very dressy shoes and keep wearing jeans and a band t-shirt, I feel like I don't want to just wear fancy shoes and shitty clothes. So my question is then, where to start? I know this kind of makes my question a bit broader than this topic, and I'd still love to get recommendations for really casual looking blazers/sports jackets. But is a leather jacket or something like that something that I could wear together with a nice pair of shoes?

(sorry for being such a complete noob, but this is the ultimate noob thread after all)

Hi guys, I'm also looking for an unstructured cotton sports jacket (or just some similar type jacket) with soft shoulders that can be worn very casually. Would prefer dark navy or charcoal color. I've seen some around, but I'd like one in size 38S - the length is the problem as most of the ones I like are too long. Probably something <28" BOC. Willing to pay <$500, but cheaper is always welcome.

I really like the look of a lot of J.Crews stuff but I'm getting sick of the quality. They have great cuts and nice looks but the quality is not there a lot of the time. J.Crew probably makes up 75% of my wardrobe at the moment (the rest being Banana, Uniqlo and Lacoste). I was wondering if people could help me upgrade to some nicer brands that have the same/similar look. Here are some of my favorite J.Crew items (not quality) and my size.

Slim Broken in V neck tee - XS

484 Slim fit pants - 29x32

I like the wash of their button downs and shorts too

I think they have interesting color choices

Thanks for any tips

There's literally dozens of threads on jeans like this, just look around and you'll find some. But if you must, there's APC. N+F, Momo, 3Sixteen, etc. etc.

Hi, I've been lurking for a while. Anyways I've only recently become interested in men's clothing and am looking to expand my wardrobe. However, due to weird body proportions (15.5 neck, 36-38 chest, 29 waist, 34-35 arms) I'm having trouble finding clothes that fit properly. Can anyone recommend some brands that might be suitable for me?

Thanks for your time!

Recommendations on a <500$ slim fitting long coat? To wear with tapered pants, black boots. The jacket below looks really cool but it's probably insanely expensive, would like some options in my budget. Thanks.

suggestions for plain tees (crew & v) that are short in length? to be worn with jeans (not as undershirt). I liked the fit of american apparel from a few years ago, but now they are even longer. Uniqlo doesn't seem to fit too well either.

J Crew has some great T's  from what I hear the new JCP has some as well..

J crew washed tees are really great. Although there are sizes seem inconsistent because the ones in outlets aren't as slim (I get these). Hits halfway down the belt, perfect.

Calvin Klein also aren't bad. Something to keep in mind if driving by your local Ross/Marshall's.
