Should I adjust this outfit a bit? Any comments on colors etc.

Also, I'm a very slim guy, so finding well fitting OCBDs is a chore. Meanwhile, quality slimmer shorts than the usual fare are hard to find as well. Suggestions on where to get these items in decent quality would be much appreciated.

The outfit is basic and fine. You can do chambray, but I think it's a little bit fad-ish. If you're in NY, go to Jeremy Argyle for shirts, or just do made-to-measure. Try to get them darted, and without pleats in the back; you won't need any extra fullness.

Also, why are you wearing Oxford cloth in the summer heat? Poplin, maybe?

Hey, I'm trying to find a nice jacket to wear out at night to parties/bars/etc. I've been looking all over, but haven't really found anything that caught my eye yet. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some places to look? I'm trying to find something affordable, being a college student I don't want to go spending too much (hopefully under $100, but I can go higher).

I found this, and I like the look of it, just as something to base a suggestion off. But I'm open to anything.

Also, im 6'4, about 195, pretty athletically built, if that matters.

Thanks in advance.

That looks a lot like H&M's military style jacket. Though the quality won't be great, it'll be rather cheap (<$60), and relatively trendy in the college crowd. However, military look is dying, as its been around for over a year now. You might want to consider something a bit more timeless.

Alright cool. Have any suggestions on something more timeless? I'm totally new to thinking about style coming from a small farm town and being a total jock just wearing sports clothes all the time.

I'd suggest running through the WAYWT thread and seeing if any styles catch your eye. Maybe a cheaper light leather jacket? Some can be found on ebay for around 200. I like the Baracuta g9:

but that might not be your style at all.

Since you like sport clothes, a baseball jacket would perhaps be nice?

Do you like Wings + Horns? They have a double zip. Also look at some Japanese brands, check out Blue Owl as I've seen them there.

Hey guys I'm new to the forum, my wardrobe is horrible and I need to fix it up.

What pair of jeans do you guys recommend for <$60 that fits good around the thighs? My thighs are bigger than average because I lift weights, so going by the manufacturers fit gets kind of misleading. I have a pair of straight jeans that feel like they are about to rip and burst open when I sit, lol.

Thanks man, I looked at both options and I really like what I see. Do you know what W & H sizing is like? I like the hoodies, but the one I want can only be found in XS, and I'm usually between S and XS.

thelastpolarbear, there's not a lot I can recommend for less than $60. The Naked and Famous Weird Guy fit has a tapered leg with a larger top block, but they retail for $120 or so. Do you want a straight leg, or a boot cut, or a taper, or what?

Hey, I'm sorry if this question is asked pretty often, but I am looking for white v-neck shirts to be worn alone with either jeans or shorts for the summer. I really like the extremely white sheened look like I see a lot of people wear (I'm not sure how to better describe it, its uhh... kind of shiny?) and was wondering what brands those shirts are.

My other problem is I have relatively dark skin and a lot of white shirts are see through or heavy nippling for me.

So far I've tried Banana Republic and Armani Exchange, but I dont like Banana's fit, and the Armani shirt that I tried was pretty transparent (although I have heard that there are other AX white v necks that are less transparent)

If anyone would be kind enough to give me some tips or brands to look at that would be very helpful, thanks.

^American Apparel is a good go-to. H&M is doing white v-necks right now, and they're very solid and opaque. I quite like them.

I am looking for a casual pair of leather shoes/boots to wear mainly with dark jeans around $250-$300. Having trouble finding the right look. Do not want anything too bulky or shiny. thanks
