What is a well rounded color pattern for a scarf? I only want one scarf that can go with anything I wear. I was thinking grey with black accent colors. I usually wear a black pea coat, denim, and brown/black boots. Am I wrong in choosing a grey/black scarf with this attire?

looking for a first (other than the american apparel hoodie i currently wear) 2nd layer (over a shirt) as in a sweater or knit or what-you-have-it and only want to get one for now. anyone recommend anything special for regular crew/v neck sweaters, and i hear the stark is good as well? but tell me a regular sweater please and kthanx

I'm going to ask what is admittedly an extremely noobish question but:

 

How much of what should I have in my wardrobe? Like a min. of X pairs of jeans, X pairs of khaki, X of etc, etc.

 

And 2. How do you raise your fashion I.Q.? Is there a basic book of fashion help that got you guys along?
