Ultimate noob thread - recommend me X in my wardrobe - post questions here please. - Page 261

So I've got some slim-fitting pants in an electric, almost unwearable, blue, and the same in red. I am therefore looking for some grey shoes -- possibly boots, possibly suede. Any recommendations?

I realize it sounds kind of heinous, but, uhm...this guy's doing it, and it doesn't look so bad:

Thanks!

Can you recommend brands for both a blazer and a belt to a college student?

Really appreciate it.

It depends what type of belt you want. There are dress belts and jean belts. Equus Leather is pretty well liked here for dress belts. For jean belts on the lower end you have a lot of choices for <$100 like Corter, Tanner, Zissou, Unlucky. There are some japanese denim brands that make really nice belts for a higher price tag.

A leather jacket maybe, unless you have low cold tolerance. Also, isn't TOJ making some winter outerwear this season, keep tabs on that

Who makes decent slim fitting plain khaki shorts? Preferably with a fairly short inseam.

Also, I need to up my semi formal wardrobe on the cheap. Don't really care about quality as it's not going to get a lot of wear. Any good budget options for a suit or sportcoat/trouser combo? I need a 36s slim fit and I'm a true 30 waist.

^Indochino sells suits that may fit you well mikey. From your fit pics, you're pretty muscular and short.

Also, I wear khaki shorts I got from GAP, 8'' inseam, but they aren't super slim.

I have a question. I'm trying to build up a winter attire to prepare my upcoming winter @ Montreal. The hoodie here seems to be good, any recommendations for what to go along with that? I was thinking of a lighter color jeans with a wash like this and I'll finish off with that. How does that look? Suggestions are greatly appreciated~biggrin.gif

Hey guys, looking for some waterproof, leather boots for the upcoming fall/and winter seasons. The drainage system on my campus is God-awful so when it's rains, there are puddles everywhere and it just makes for a slushy commute to class. I really dig the style of engineer boots so I was looking at Chippewa's and Red Wings. Any other brands or boot styles I should check out? Also, trying to cap my budget at $200. I know that is probably a tall order, but I still need to get some more things so I'm tryna spread my bread lol

Srsly, dudes -- no one can point me in the direction of some grey shoes that would look good with red or blue pants?

I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!

It's alright, try surfing the MC forum, I think there's an entire thread about how to size and what not.

Anyone know of any nice sweat pants that can actually be worn out that are reasonably priced - Slim (preferable with ribbed ankles though if it is slim enough it may not be needed) Maybe a slight drop crotch
