I like to have 14, so I have a top pair and a back up pair for each day.

Not quite as funny as, "Here is my money: dress me, o internet strangers!"

Penny loafers. I could always just get Bass Weejuns (the Larson model) for ~$100, but if there's something a little more streetwear-friendly for not too much more, I'd be interested.

I think there are some really slim mabitex chinos at my local daffys.. i think they are in size 28 and 30... I could maybe look... would cost you about $50 shipped from me

I willing to spend up to $300 on a pair, suggest me something oh internet strangers.

A) Next pair of raw denim. I looking for a pair that has or will develop a greenish hue. Also the cut should have decent room in the thighs and a slight taper. I'm wearing cougar boot cut now, but would like something a bit more relaxed in the thigh and with a slight taper for my next pair. I would get a pair of miners, but I'd like to explore different denim.

B) Button up shirts made to wear untucked. Looking for shirts to wear with jeans, and I think normal shirts look terrible untucked. Where would I find shirts that are shorter, made to be left untucked, ideally under $70.

A pair of Rick hightops for around 1K.

Dior 19 cms, B.Son hoodie and CP Achilles. It might be a little over a grand but you can rejoice in how original and chic you are.

That's three sarcastic, unhelpful posts. Let's make it four, at least! robbie's got it locked. Establish a wardrobe of quality basics and then, as you learn, work from there.

Why not talk to Michael J Krell? Some sufu guys wear his chinos and they look good on them. Also, Uniqlo T-000 and they do phone/email orders

A pair of sweat pants

Robbie's list is fine if you woke up one morning naked in a ditch. You could probably get rid of the $100 spent on underwear and trim the fat in a few places so that you're left with more of a budget for some quality pieces that you won't have to end up replacing in the long run. But then the OP is a troll so I'd just spend the $$$ on blowjobs and unicorns.

rofl @ kodiak reference

seriously:

actually it would be much less... sho'nuff has the black patent achilles for <$200, and another seller has black achilles for that too, luisaviaroma has dior mii 19cm for <$200, and mij for <$250, and with the left over $500+ he could afford to get multiple b.son hoodies, or even wings and horns/eg/ndg/ etc

honestly, if i had $1000 to start from scratch i would get dior 19cm, a nice piece of ndg outerwear on sale, and then a pair of either high tops or black dressy shoes--not a wingtip though

Uniqlo T-000 are the slimmest and relatively speaking, best quality chinos I've founded for the price range. I like my MJK's too though. MJK quality is clearly better, but I don't find them as close fitting and they were a bit more expensive. EDIT: changed the word slim to close fitting
post #209 of 4947
Did you get the MJK slim or skinny fit? The Skinny fit measure exactly the same as my a77 costellos and from fit pics on MJK himself, they seem pretty much the exact same pant.
Yeah, they're the skinny's. They're pretty slim I guess, I've never tried on Aprill 77's.
