Ok, I am slowly building my wardrobe And I was wondering If I can get some pointers. Currently I own black pants, run of the mill blue jeans, white vans. And some casual beater shirts.

I just bought a parka from uniqlo but I dont know what will go well with.  Any ideas? Black pants with beige parka?

Also what color pants can I buy that will work with beige?

brown, navy, blue, burgundy works very well with beige, black is ok,

I'd go with a dark grey, charcoal, navy or (maybe) light grey. Perhaps something like a Docker's Alpha Khaki in hurricane, steelhead or gravel. Brown might lead one to think that you're out on safari. Black's too much.

I'm looking for a decent pair of every day boots. I'm not ready for baller status, but I still want a nice pair of boots. I'm looking mid range pricing. I currently rock blacked out leather converse or some cheapo gbx chelsea/loafer things. I wear Danner RAT hot steels (12.5) all day at work. In the meantime I plan to pick up a pair of Clarks.

I like the MMM ankle/calf boots for $395

Or the NDC ankle boots for $235

Two items still elusive after multiple physical store and on line searches:

Air force or steel blue wool trousers of high quality, flat front no cuff. I think these would look incredible with brown brogue boots or on weekends, even sneakers. I also like to wear ACNE black derbies to work, though I do need to avoid the "bus driver" look with those colors.

Thigh length brown leather coat. Shearling lined, must have waist and wrist cuffs as I get really cold without them. Weathered leather much preferred. No hood. I am not sure if this is called jacket, bomber, or trench. I can wait until fall and would like to spend under $3000.

cheers

Hello, I'd appreciate recommendations on trousers for the summer, with wicking properties - so could be tech trousers but ideally not looking like sportswear. Preferably in neutral colors and in the sub-$350 range. Thanks.

Take a look at Outlier and Proof NY. You can also spend a bit more and get Veilance trousers. OR you can just spend $30 and get a Uniqlo linen easy pants and save $300 for other stuffs.

Are there any jacket/coat recommendations for a college student on a budget?

I'm looking for something that can layer well. I'm thinking: button-up shirt + sweater + jacket for work.

I'll pay for good quality though!
