NCAA Tournament 2009 - Page 2

If Lawson is healthy and playing well, Carolina is a step above everyone else in the field, despite their aversion to playing defense. No other team can put up points in a hurry like Carolina can. If you can contain Lawson and drag Carolina into a half-court game (like Duke was able to do for a little more than a half yesterday), they are very beatable.

A lot of people are jumping on the Pitt bandwagon, but I'm not convinced. They have underachieved in the tournament for the past several years.

With so much parity in college basketball, I like to pick coaches that have a history of tournament success. Watch out for Michigan State and Louisville.

The only team in any sport that I really get behind is Creighton basketball during the MVC tourney and the NCAA tourney. I really hope they get in. They laid a complete egg their last game, but before that they won 11 games in a row and are 8-4 in true road games. They have some really good guards.

BTW: Anyone know why the AP stopped its "Inside College Basketball Podcast"?

Memphis is an absolute fraud this year. Last year with Rose and Douglas Roberts they were for real, but this year they'll flame out early. Until they switch conferences, they should not be allowed any higher than a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Am I the only one who finds the "going dancing" terminology INCREDIBLY annoying?

So is there a SF tourney bracket online anywhere?
