Peaches. - Page 3

I make peach cobblers when they are in season. I like to add chopped up fresh lavender to peach desserts - it's an amazing combination.

There was a brew pub in Austin, TX that used to make Fredricksburg peach mead during the summer. To me, that was one of the most beautiful drinks I've ever had and showed true devotion to the art of brewing by the brewmeister.

We regularly have a big tub of peach mango salsa in our fridge. Good stuff.

Pinot Peach Smash ?!

While peaches are great, peach flavor (ice cream, liquor) is trailer trash.

Probably the reason you don't see it more often.

Bump. I'm eating a fresh peach now.

There used to be a peach soda around here growing up, but I haven't seen it in like a decade.

Also, my mother used to 'make' this for me growing up, and I still love it:
1 - cut up fresh peach into chunks
2 - put in tupperware container
3 - sprinkle sugar on top (important!)
4 - set in fridge until cold/overnight
5 - enjoy

Izze makes a peach soda.

Then there's Lindemann's Peche Lambic beer. Other brands too, but that's my fav.

And as others have said, it's hard to beat a warm peach cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

put a twist on this: put the peaches on a jellyroll pan and freeze them overnight. Next day, grind them in the food processor and add a couple decent tablespoons of mascarpone (or sour cream). taste and add a touch of vanilla or almond extract if you want. pure peach ice cream without an ice cream maker.
