Tattoo problem

So I want a tattoo on my arm. The only problem is that my upper arm where I want has hair. And the hair grows pretty quickly. So theres a few questions:
1) Will it mess up the tattoo?
2) Will the hair continue to grow after the tattoo.
3) Will the tattoo go deep enough to destroy the hair follicles
4) What would you guys do in this situation?

Don't bother. You'll regret it in five years, tops.

1. If you go to a good tattooer, the tattoo will be fine. He/ She will shave the area first. 2. The hair will grow back. 3. Tattoos do not effect hair folicles. 4. In your situation I would find a great tattooer (Steve Boltz, Johaan Florendo, There are tons fo them in NY) and get the tattoo you want.

laser hair removal...but just for the area right around where the tattoo will be.

it'll look stupid as shit, but be funny for the rest of us.

People get tattoos over areas with hair all the time. They just shave it off, and it will grow back fine. Go for it!

Incorporate the hair in to the tat.

There's also the classic, armpit vag tat.

I have most my arm covered, I just shave my arm weekly.

Both of my calves are inked and in both cases, the hair grew back lighter (nearly not there) afterwards. I have no idea why. I cannot guarantee that will happen with your arm. But you could just shave it yourself once in a while.
