I measured myself, I have around a 36.5 chest and 17 shoulder and 30 waist. (roughly)

I am looking at korean dress shirts online, and since their sizing is different, I just look at their measurements.

Would I fit into a 37 chest 16.9 shoulder? That is their medium size, and is slim fitting.
Their next size up has 39.4 chest and 17.1 shoulder.

I'm not sure if I should buy "true to size" or have it looser?

I want a slim fit look, that hugs the body but is not like muscle tee.

tis via ebay, im just wondering if when you measure yourself, do you go with your measured size or are you supposed to allow an inch or something?

You might want to browse some MTM shirt websites. They will often explain how to measure yourself.

How much to add depends on the fit you want and the measurement spot.

Other then that do you have any shirts now? Measure them and compare.

37 shirt chest is really small for your actual chest, it'll be hard to breathe and move around. Add at least 2.5 inches to your measurements for a slim fit shirt.
