Has BR gone crazy? - Page 2

They do fit BR French-cuff shirts, albeit very snugly.  I recommend using both hands, instead of trying to put them in with one hand while you're already wearing the shirt. I know, I know, it doesn't make any sense.  I asked one of the managers at the BR where I work on weekends, and her best guess is that BR silk knots are made for women, not men.  Our store displays all the silk knots by the jewelry case on the women's side, not by the metal cufflinks on the men's side. Now doesn't that clear things up? P.S. they're not such a bad deal when they get marked down from $20 to $9.99 or less for three pairs, to make room for new sets of colors.

BTW, I think Banana Republic Premium shirts are an even dumber marketing move.  It started out so promising, and has now simply become a haven for American Jackass style.
I know what you mean. I just wish that BR would offer premium shirts that combined the trimmer fit of the $78 premium shirts (minus the jackass prints and huge two-button collars) with the more subdued patterns of the $68 premium shirts (minus the blousy fit).

Yes, I almost bought a 3-pack on clearance a few weeks ago, but the colors they had weren't really useful to me.

I work at BR and yes i'm not proud of it, and now even but its money.  Anyhow we got those in and sold about 5-6 pairs and then all of a sudden we started getting them back cause they didn't fit.  This was from their first batch about 3 months ago.  I guess they aren't smart enough to fix the problem.  They are free usually with shirts from BB.
Exactly, I have been offered them free many times from BB.

100% rayon. Imported. Machine wash. Are the selling nighties or cuff links?

Charvet are actually $14, however they are real silk. Most others are just elastic.   Though the Charvet are real silk, they fall apart pretty easy.
True.... nice as they are, I stopped wearing these years ago. None ever lasted me more than a few wearings...

I bet if you doused them with Fray Check they would last indefinately.
