Well, the Zegna event was last night .I ended up wearing a Kiton Blu Diamante 3 button suit in a deep gray-blue,a Borrelli Blue and white bengal striped shirt with spread collar and French cuffs, and a diagonal plaid Borrelli seven fold tie in gray-blue and pink.J.M. Weston cap toe laceups in black calfskin were the finishing touch.I felt and looked smashing.Three time Superbowl Champion quarterback Tom Brady could not have been nicer. He was such a gracious, sincere guest. An amazingly patient man,who easily smiled, conversed with everybody, posed for pictures, signed whatever anybody brought up to him.He truly enjoyed meeting the public, and never once did I get the impression it was wearing on him.Even when a cute little five year old girl clamped onto his leg and would not let go for like 3 minutes. The man was unflappable. Truly, the epitome of class. He is taller than I expected, at about 6'4".My friend who works there says he takes about a 44 extra long, and has his Napoli suits MTM.The gift bag contained a small leather Zegna football, ideal for an autograph. All the while, trays of miniature delights such as miniature hamburgers, pesto pizza, smoked chicken on biscuits, mini whoopee pies, and mini gelato cones were circulated amongst the 200 or so guests.Truly a smashing party.Kudos to Paul Wallace and the entire Zegna staff for their gracious hospitality.
