I'm worried about maintaining muscle though. Last time I went to Asia I came back weighing less but I think it was a lot of muscle as I was weaker in the gym.

How do you deal nutrition while traveling? Would you bring protein shakes to supplement?

I carry about a pound of whey and about 1/4 pound of superfood supplement, protien enriched oatmeal and protien bars when I travel. petty much 2/3rds of my meals are protien shakes or some other protien.

You could just order chicken/beef as every meal but that may or may not present a budget problem.

wait 2/3 of your meals in general? so I can stop eating food and switch over to a protein shake diet? sounds like a solution to skipping meals and being skinny......

about 2/3 of my meals on the road. I travel about 2 weeks a month, and I have to eat a lot of good meals (well, both have to and have the opportunity to) so 2 meals a day I have either a protien shake, a protien bar or protien enriched oatmeal.
