Favourite Butter - Page 5

This thread inspired me to get out to Whole Foods early this a.m. I picked up a La Brea bakery sour baguette (still warm) and Danish Lurpak butter. Got home, put a section of the bread in the over, the Lurpak on the counter, and ground some fresh home roasted coffee and put some Clover organic whole milk in a chilled frothing pitcher ...

Within a few minutes I was enjoying warm baguette with fresh Lurpak butter and a real cappuccino.

Love life in America ... especially when it incorporates some of the best traditions and foods from the rest of the world.

I've recently also dropped the olive oil on my peanut butter and cottage cheese sandwiches. The only time I olive oil a sandwich is when I'm having ham and cheese, otherwise, no oil, butter, or marge.

I've got some delicious Kerrygold in the fridge right now, but when I was in London last I had some outrageously good anonymous French butter that was downright cheesy. As soon as I finish the Irish, I'm off to pick up some Lurpak.
