He's playing the entire album?! Levon Helm is playing two evenings, I think the ones right after Van's shows (so this Wed. and Thurs.?). Wish I could go to both concerts.

The album is only about 45 minutes, so AW and a second set of other material.

NPR had a favorable review of it a few days ago. I'd see it. Great fucking album.

Great show.

No bullshit. No talking to the audience. Mumbled through a few and nailed the rest including a killer Comfortably Numb.

Pick up tickets for tomorrow night if you can.

Turns out some of Levon's guests included Phoebe Snow, Jim Weider and DONALD FAGEN. Two of my heroes on the same stage and I missed it

Same here. Very enjoyable music.

I also recommend the new audiophile LP reissue of Astral Weeks. Nicely musical and detailed.
