No fool. I meant I am watching season 3 next, not season 3 was next in the rankings.

One of my favorite quotes from Season 2. Nice call.

Interestingly, I see Mouzone and Omar as boogey men for those in "The Game." Both stereotype breaking characters. Mouzone from the Enforcement side and Omar from the Cautionary Tale side (Watch your back or. . . .) Them coming together to do Stringer made a nice (potentially convenient) dovetail of risks being in the game brought.

So, uh, did you just watch two hole seasons in under a week? I've gone on benders before, but damn, that's hardcore. You remind me of Johnny when he slams the whole shot at once and Bubs tells him that he thinks he's brown but he's still green. You gotta pace yourself.

Ziggy and Nick are what make Season 2 so good. Watching Zig eff up time and time again is one of the funniest parts of the series. Nick is awesome as he represents the what the realization of hoplessness as a working man will do to you.

Also, there is a strong debate as to whether Season 2 or 4 is the best (as I've stated I'm for the former), but Season 1 is nowhere near those two.

I basically skipped all the Bubbles and Ziggy scenes. It really speeds up the show. I definitely think that season 1 is better than season 2. Avon is a much better foil than The Greek.

I don't think the point of Season 2 is for you to care all that much about The Greek like you are Avon in Season 1. Season 2 is much more about the plight of the working man (queue Springsteen song). If you want to compare characters between Seasons 1 and 2 compare Frank Sobotka to Avon. If you set it up in those terms, I don't think the comparison is close. Sobotka is one of the best (and superbly acted) characters on the show.

I've always regarded The Greek more as a symbol of the worst aspects of globalized capitalism and not as a flesh and blood character (nothing wrong with that within the context of the series).

As for Ziggy -- unfortunately he's all too realistic.

To argue my point you post a scene with neither Ziggy or Bubs in it?

Frank was a great character, and that guy killed the part, but it was just too involved with the union bullshit and Ziggy and the crappy Greek guys.
